Platter

A large platter with a lip. Thrown on the potter’s wheel and reduction fired in gas-fired kiln to 1280 degrees Celsius with a soft, white celadon-type glaze. Iron flecks burn through from the stoneware clay body as dark, sometimes iridescent spots flush to the surface.
